Montpelier Nevis
Although its history dates back to 1687, there’s nothing out-dated or old fashioned about this former plantation house in Nevis. The Hoffman family who own Montpelier Nevis have been in the Caribbean for four generations and you’ll be warmly greeted here by their team. Guests stay in chic, modern accommodation and we recommend the superb, innovative cuisine at the hotel’s three restaurants including the tiny Mill Privee – it’s home to the hotel’s fine dining restaurant, built inside an 18th century sugar mill. Open for dinner, Mill Privee serves six-course tasting menus in a candlelit setting.
Montpelier may not be right on the beach but the ocean is just a few minutes’ drive away and, once there, the hidden cove is reserved exclusively for hotel guests so you’ll enjoy perfect peace and seclusion.
